Lot 5524 INTERESTING GROUPING OF BOOKS RELATING TO 20th

CENTURY WARFARE. Books as noted are both hard and softbound. 1) "Time Life WWII Series". This comprehensive series shows many aspects of WWII from both sides. There are 39 volumes published circa 1980. The 9 1/2" x 11 1/2" books are hardbound and are approx 200 pgs each. CONDITION: volumes have light wear and staining, but remain legible. 2) "Time Life Series: The Third Reich". This series covers Germany's participation in WWII, published circa 1989 and consists of twenty 9" x 11" hardbound volumes. Well illustrated. CONDITION: books are in good to very good condition with only light handling wear. 3) Balletine's Illustrated History of Violent Century. There are 120 volumes from this popular series which was introduced in the early 1970s. They are approx 8 1/4" x 5 1/2" softbound, well illustrated and contain a great deal of information pertaining to battles, campaigns, weapons and personalities etc. CONDITION: ranges from good to very good with light handling wear. 4) "History of United States Naval Operations in World War II" by Samuel Eliot Morison. There are 14, approx. 9" x 6" hardbound cloth covered volumes of the original 15 volumes that were published by Little Brown & Co., Boston. CONDITION: books have handling wear, light staining, occasional slight loose bindings and may have markings inside cover. 5) "Flags of American History" by Crouthers. 10" x 7 1/2" hardbound; former library volume. CONDITION: good, legible condition. 6) "World War II Era" National Geographic magazines. Six are in a binder and eight are separate. CONDITION: magazines may have wear, loose covers or pages.
